No. The needle is only used to access the vein, then a small flexible catheter stays in place while the needle is removed. You won't feel the needle during your infusion — just relax and enjoy.

Yes, with proper clearance from your OB. IV hydration can help with nausea, vomiting, or dehydration during pregnancy. Your OB must provide a note stating you are cleared. Zofran may also be available if approved.
Contraindications include history of heart failure, kidney failure, edema in extremities, known vitamin allergies, electrolyte imbalances, and certain medications like chemotherapy or anticoagulants. Skin rashes or infections near the IV site may also prevent treatment. Your GFE will screen for these.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment to receive your booking deposit back. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a fee of 50% of the service cost.
